We are currently looking for a Measurement Technician at our Montreal terminal. You will be responsible for performing required sampling and testing of crude oil to ensure that all measurement equipment is operating accurately.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
Measurement, testing and sampling of crude oil. Performs and documents Quality Checks (QC) on all measurement instrumentation at Montreal Terminal.
Responsible for the creation of delivery/receipt volume ticketing in the Montreal Terminal and data entry into the Custody Transfer Ticketing System.
Conducts required daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly checks on equipment and maintains computer logs.
General housekeeping/cleaning of area building facilities and field measurement equipment.
performs routine equipment inspections, crude sampling, and annual surveys.
Performs other related terminal duties such as First Responder for Emergencies, security checks, storm water retention pond sampling, vehicle maintenance, etc.
Responsible for inspection of Personnel Personal Protective Equipment such as respiratory protection, gas detectors, fire extinguishers etc.
Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal record check and a company sponsored medical and drug testing.
Who You Are (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required and minimal direct training and experience.
Supplementary Science and Technical education considered an asset.
Measurement experience/training is an asset.
Intermediate computer skills required.
Outstanding attention to detail required.
Working Condition:
90% Field environment
12-hour shifts, days, and nights
Comment: This temporoary duration of this role is 6 months.
